OBD GPS

Hi Jari,
Thank you for your question.
No – the device does not emit any audible or visual signals during operation. It has no flashing indicator lights or buzzers, so it functions completely unobtrusively when connected to the OBD port.
The listening function does not give the device away either: you send an SMS command to the device, it replies "OK" and calls the SOS number you have specified, allowing you to hear sounds inside the vehicle—without any audible signal sounding within the car itself.
The device is compact (47 × 24 × 31 mm, 30 g) and draws power directly from the OBD port. You can view the location via the TrackSolid app (iOS/Android): outdoor GPS accuracy is within 10 meters, while indoors the device uses GSM network-based LBS positioning (approx. 50–150 m). To function, the device requires a SIM card with mobile data and SMS capabilities.
